Will someone recommend a source to purchase the wires that hold crystals or little balls that are inserted into wedding cakes?

You don't need a specific kind of cake wire just get jewelry making wire in any craft department and cut and bend it how you want. You will need to make sure that the gauge of the wire is strong enough to hold whatever you are planning on hanging from it.
