Wedding dress help!!??

Question

my sister is getting married and she wants a dress just for the church. she wants to get married in a big catholic church in new york city, maybe st patricks, and im trying to help her with the dress. she wants a big dress, not very poofy, but with a long train, and she doesnt want strapless because she says that everyone wears strapless. do yo know where i can help her find a dress like that. do you have any links to pictures or websites? thanks:)

Send her to houseofbrides.com, they have a ton of designers on there to look through, tell her mermaid dresses don't have long trains and they are a ***** to get into, out of, and to use the bathroom in!  :)  Take her to a store to try some on and she'll get a better idea what she likes.

This one is strapless however it is VERY EASY to add cap sleeves to any strapless dress, this desinger will make custom changes.

Instead of doing a big poofy dress have you ever thought about sheath v-neck with a cathedral veil for the wow factor.

  If she doesn't want strapless because everyone wears them... I would go with poofy and sleeves.  Everyone wears a poofy dress now a days and with straps... it looks strange.

You probably wont be able to find many mermaid dresses with a long train.  But you could get a mermaid dress and then a cathedral length veil. That would be very pretty.
