  1. Stay away from the museums, Union Station, etc. The room charges and extra rentals will kill you. Metro Parks has a couple of venues that could work for you. The Nature Center, Point Defiance Lodge, etc. Most of the time, you can do your own catering but check out the alcohol requirements . . . If you do decide to hire a caterer, handle the rentals yourself. Most of them add a service charge to any service they handle for you. Also, if you can pick up the rentals, you'll save the delivery charge.

    I hope this helps.

  2. Does it matter where in Washington State (like north, south, east, west.....restrictions?). The coast is lovely of course. Seattle is great in general (my fiance and I got engaged there).

Try this website. It has a bunch of places you may want to consider. http://www.reverendvalentine.com/places/...

(Pioneer park and Thornewood Castle look amazing).

  3. Country Clubs, Thornewood Castle or other Mansions, Hotels, someone's beautiful backyard.  Check out myseattlewedding.com for more ideas.  There's sure to be something in your budget there.

  4. Places you could try:

    The Glass Museum

    Tacoma Art Museum

    or Point Defiance Park

  5. It really depends on what city you are in. I live in Washington, but I don't know whether you are on the east or west side so I really can't help a whole lot. sorry ;[
