Weight gain for pig?

county fair is in 5 days and my swine isnt making weight. anybody no ways i can get my pig to gain more weight. such as a special diet. or items such as eggs. thanks

I'm having the same problem.

first of all, if you're only feeding it twice a day, bump it up to 3 times a day.

also, if you're at 6pounds of feed per day, I would feed it at least 8, but more likely 10-12.

so each meal, feed your pigs about 4 pounds of feed.

next, here are some extras to feed your pig WITH THE 8-12 POUNDS: scrambled eggs, pasta (macaroni and cheese and spaghetti), mashed potatoes, INSURE(like PediaSure for adults, you can get it at the grocery store, make sure you read the label and get the weight gain kind, not the plain calcium kind. my pig likes strawberry flavor [insure works VERY WELL!!!]), and Gatorade.

wet the feed every time you feed. and KEEP THAT PIG HYDRATED!

don't walk your pig or shave it until the morning you bring it to the fair.

and feed a full ration that morning.

also, make sure you feed your pig right before you leave for fair, because they can pee and p**p 2-5 pounds out on the trailer.
