Weight loss confusion...?

im 5'6 and used to weigh 235 pounds and now im about 213...but the thing is my pant size is not goin down (i still fit in my 38x40) and i still wear an XL tshirt

do i just need to lose more weight?

do u need to get to a certain weight amount wear u acually drop sizes?

  1. to tell you the truth its not about how much you weigh, but how big you are, you've only lost about 22 pounds so try eating healthy vegies, fruits, lean meats and grains and nuts as well as walking longer distances, walking up stairs and working out that might help.


  2. Maybe your losing fat from different parts of the body like your arms or something. I guess you have to lose more weight to drop sizes with your clothes.

  3. you should measure you waist, arms and thighs, and then in 2 weeks measure them again to see if they have shrunk. but i would say lose another 10-15 and then lose a dress size  

  4. Well, I know for me I lose a lot of weight in my face, arms, and legs first.

    I agree with the other answer.  Instead of looking at your weight, measure your waist, hips, chest etc.  Then compare 2 weeks later.
