  1. crunches and sit ups won't do anything for weight loss on their own. For weight loss you have to do cardio. Building muscle definately helps lose weight, as muscle itself burns calories. but you have to do cardio too. I'm sure there is some way you can incorporate a cardio routine into your day. Whether its taking the stairs instead of an elevator, leaving the car at home and biking to work/school, getting up half an hour earlier. Watch your diet, a healthy, balanced diet with regular meals will help a LOT.

  2. None.  You need the aerobic exercise to go with the toning.  If you won't do the whole program, don't do any of it.

  3. 652

  4. Push ups, sit ups and leg lifts are not going to get you "cut." And not in a month.

Whenever someone says that they don't have the "time," it makes me wonder. You really can't find the time for an extra 30 minutes a day to run or walk? I find that hard to believe.

Looking "cut" also has to do with lowering your overall percentage of body fat, so diet also plays a huge role. Make sure you are eating "clean" and not too much and that will help.

  5. Push ups, sit ups won't do it. If you are trying to lose fat around your abdominal area you will need to jog.
