Weightlifting question, please help. ?

Can a person who's height is 5 feet 8 inches and weight 150 go up to 190 of muscle mass and some fat?

  1. You didn't mention how fast you wanted to increase your weight. If you want to gain that weight in, say, a year, then you're gaining 40 pounds in 12 months, which is a little over 3 pounds per month, which is certainly achievable. The key to gaining weight is eating 5 or 6 meals a day. Monitor your caloric intake, and make sure it's much higher than the calories you burn per day. It's all math and easy to do.

  3. Yes, it is possible but it isn't easy. It takes dedication to diet and a consistent work out: not spot training and you can't work out everyday because that is just asking for an injury. If you have one, ask your school physical trainer on help to obtaining your goal.
