Weird car noises ?

Question

I have a 1990 nissan 240sx. When the car is on, in neutral, no pedals in. I hear a constant clunking noise in the engine area. When i rev the engine it still makes the noise. What could it be? How do I fix it?

Also, when I go forward, or in reverse, and then let off the gas and have the clutch in so im coasting (still in gear), I hear a rubbing noise coming from the front tires it seems. What could it be, and what to fix it?

sounds like it might be your throwout bearling. AKA clutch release bearing.
