every now and then i get a sharp, pressured pain in my lungs making it hard to breath or talk. the bronchial tubes hurt to and feels like it trying to push up my throat and moves down your stomach.

it had first started in the winter in class but i just sat there hoping it would go away and it did at the end of the period. i kept getting several times during th winter and spring.

One of my friends has the same problem and we're confused on what it is.

today she got again after 5 months and we just want to know what it could be.

  1. Its probably a strained muscle, which will make you miserable when you inhale and exhale. You may be tensing up these muscles, not realizing it and making it more painful. Its more than likely its nothing serious. Best to do correct stretches for the area. If you could go to a massage therapist, preferably a sports massage therapist, they can ease up the muscles, show you correct stretches and do them for you, send you home with them to do. Of course, always check with a doctor if you have serious concerns. Not knowing family history, asking pertinent questions to determine what this is all about makes it impossible to answer further. Since you were on vacation, that says to me many things. Travel sitting in a car, on a plane, sleeping on weird beds all of these things leave people with pains they never had before. Massage therapy is the best place to start for help if you feel it is not so serious after all. If you're only 16, ask Mom and/or Dad to take you to the doctor if you're worried.

  2. I also get this, and i am not sure on what it is either. I just don't worry about it. Mine goes away in a couple seconds. So i wouldn't worry to much.

  3. Tell your parents and go see the doctor.  It could be one of lots of things.
