Weird...????????????

Ok so this might make me sound like a real superficial ***** but...

I'm popular at school and stuff but not in the kind of like evil mean way but like people just seem to like me well any way Underneath it all I'm a big hard out nerdy weird freak! and it seems like Ive got a life at school wear I'm normal but at home I'm always in my room reading,drawing and on the computer allot...(Unless I'm doing sports) I'm into things like comics and fantasy based books and Ive just been thinking its kind of WEIRD how I'm completely different at school then how I am at home...what do you think????

It's not weird. Lots of people change how they are. At home you can act a certain way, and when you go to work/school, you act a different way. I think it's the environment you're in and the people in it.

I'm different at school too. I'm the quiet popular girl at school. But at home or with my bff I get crazy! lol

I think it's great that your popular but still stick to what you're interested outside of school.  Are you worried people might not like you as much if they found about your fantasy books and stuff?

omg i am excatley like that people at school think im tough and they no me for sticking up for myself and others but at home i am so nerdy and quite but crazy and i read like scifi and watch scifi and stuff like that lol

Hey!  I resemble that!  There is an oriental saying that "A man has a face for everyone he knows."  Simply put, yo have your school personality, another for at home, one for your close friends, one for relatives, etc.  The only weird thing I see in your question is that you found this out so fast in life.  Most people don't ever even KNOW they do this, and you got spooked by knowing it so early in life.  Now that you know this, you can relax, and just be you, no matter who YOU are.

Hey there,

I think it is good that you are popular at school but still do what you like at home (agree with Dasha). You should keep your identity. As long as you're not being 'fake' at either place and still being 'yourself' there is nothing wrong with having different facets of your personality. Just don't alienate your family (I'm not saying you are though). Sounds like you may be a little introverted, just a little, and you use a lot of energy being around everyone at school and sports and you need some 'down time' when you get home. I have a family member like that. When he gets home from work he just needs to relax and do computer things or other hobbies alone like yard work or something to 'destem', you know? Could be what you're experiencing. You are "on" all day at school and home is your haven to just relax and let it all go and process the days' events and your drawings and books are how you do that. :)

some people change their personality at school and at home because at school there are a lot of people that you sometimes want to impress.  at home you have people that you express yourself because you have been with them all your life.  i dont think its weird though.  i do it all the time too.
