Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vito-Mannone-c36276, as he feels the keeper has a bright future at the Emirates and feels that he is bound to help the team out in the future.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998 made his return to the first team last season, as he went on to start in the game against Southampton. However, despite Arsenal winning by six goals to one, the keeper managed to pick up an ankle knock and he had to be taken off the pitch.
As a result, it is believed that Mannone will be starting for the team in the team’s coming games, which is going to help the keeper prove his worth and fight for a place in the first team.
So far this season, Mannone has gone on to make two appearances for the Gunners, and in both those games he went on to keep clean sheets. As a result, his presence in the team hasn’t gone on to cause many to worry about the team’s situation, since just about everyone is confident in the ability that Mannone possesses.
When talking about the shot stopper, Wenger is reported to have said: "http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 number one jersey], and he gets another opportunity now"
"He has belief and he has the mental strength to deal with that."
Even though Mannone will be in goal for the team, Wenger feels that the rest of the team needs to be just as cautious as the keeper will be in the game against Montpellier.
The manager is aware of the way the French team have been playing in the past, and as a result he wants his team to avoid dropping any unnecessary points, due to a lack of preparation.
He said: "What they did [last season] is a miracle because I think three years ago they were in the second division and one point away from relegation to division three.
"It is difficult to know why they have not started well this season. Maybe because they were champions and now they are the team to beat.
"People have maybe a little less urgency and everybody is a bit more cautious against them."
