Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to reveal that he has no plans on replacing Laurent Blanc and becoming the next manager of the French national team.
With Laurent Blanc going on to step down as the manager of the French national team, it was believed that Arsene Wenger would be the next logical choice, as the person to come in and replace Blanc.
However, Wenger has gone on to dismiss these rumours and has insisted that he is more focused on seeing out his contract with the Gunners.
When talking about the links to being the next manager of France, Wenger went on to state:
"There are a lot of names"

"But me, I will be very busy with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 where my contract still runs for two years."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 went on to have a very unsuccessful run in the 2010 World Cup, where they failed to make it out of the group stages of the tournament. This time around, the team did much better in the Euro 2012, as they made it as far as the quarter finals. Despite
this progress, Blanc felt that he couldn’t offer the team any more help and as a result, he opted to give up his spot as the manager of the national team.
At the moment, Wenger is still believed to be the prime candidate to take over, despite the manager insisting that he has no intentions of leaving Arsenal. As back up, the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Le Guen, Luis Fernandez and Didier Deschamps are also being looked at
by the team.
Over the last couple of seasons, despite Arsenal failing to win a trophy, Wenger insisted that he is going to see out his contract with the club. The manager still has quite a few plans for the team and hopes to implement them and bring some more success
to the Emirates.
Wenger may have ruled himself out as being the French team’s manager, but once his contract with Arsenal comes to an end, he is bound to consider his options.
He has already given the Gunners everything that he can and perhaps it is time for him to manage a national team, before he calls it quits on his career as a football manager.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds for Wenger.
