Were loseing our house!

Question

okay so i guess my parents wenrt makeing there payments on there morgage and if we dont find somethign to do we will lose our house it goes up for sale on 9/15 so we have about a month but its hard because we own other houses too we own 2 more houses that one we rent out but they havet been paying so that makes up behind and then my grandmother died so were trying to sell her house so we have pay for that and we own like 15akers of land so i dont want to lose our house we have a in ground pool and a pond and everything is nice. any help please!?!?

sounds as if you gonna have to ask the tentent thats not paying the rent to leave, then place an add for a new renter asking for first and last months security with that money it can go towards the house that needs the payment.plus maybe take out a loan but you dont wanna end up in debt..if you sell your grandmothers house thst will help to but becareful make sure the people you sell it to will buy it have a lawyer there to handle the finances,make sure they can make the payments check their history to make sure they can at least make payments or u should ask for all the money upfront to cover the other house then try not to get behind in payment remember banks love taking homes its their business you have to stop it befire the shark tries to attak .. best of luck to you and yours..

You are going to have to either sell all or some of the houses if you can or file bankruptcy. You can file Chapter 13 bankruptcy that allows you to keep some assets. Tell your parents to check into it and to hurry it up. It takes awhile for it to go through. Another option is to move into one of the other houses you guys own. That's what I'D do. Its sad that you guys might lose your house where "everything's nice" but that is how it goes. If you can't afford it then that's it. I mean, are you really tripping over an in-ground pool when you have two other houses you could live in? You realize that some people lose their house and are actually homeless, right?

Try selling the rental home since they are not paying anyway. Evict them and then sell it for what you can. If the payments were ok and in good standing made by your parents on the rental home you can possibly do a short sale. Also try selling some of that land for what you can. Even try selling piece by piece.
