I am a huge Wst Coast Eagles fan but I completely see what your seeing. Hey I hate the Pies but Pies fans dont hate em, so WHO CARES? They are having a really tough time right now, with Cuz dropped 4 nothing at all, Mainy dead, Judd gone 2 Carlton. It's just not happening 4 them right now. Eagles in '08!

Idiot. Westcoast are a great team.They shouldn't have rushed cuzzy back into the side but they made a mistake.They should have waited to sack him cause he has pled not guilty to the charges and the drug was only Diazapan a bloody perscription drug.I know he didn't have a script for it but F.u.c.k,He bloody needs something for what he's been through lately.But no,i don't agreewith you,westcoast Rocks man...

They haven't sucked the last few seasons, premierships and finals appearances.

However this season no Cousins, no Judd .......... I guess we will all see how good the so called under rated midfield is over 22 rounds.

My guess .............. they will be the sliders of 2008

The supporters and sponsors must feel very embarrased by this mess. Cousins has taken advantage of the WCE support, both emotionally and financially, and deserves to have his contract torn up.

Although drug addiciton is an illness, his continuous smiles to the camera show a completely arrogant disreguard for all those who have help him and wished him well.

Remember when his father went on tv to read a speech? He must feel very sad for his son but also extremely disappointed.

As it stands, the police said he was found with an anti-amxiety drug in his car. This is no big deal. There must have been other drugs in his car because anxiety drugs are not a reason to be arrested.

I just hope his ********* disappears as well as the man for a while, because obviously he is not getting what he needs in Perth.

I also think that enough people, players and officials knew of his drug problem, similar to Andrew Johns, and didn't say anything. These people should also be held accountable and feel responsible also.

I think in future, you will see less and less people wanting to go to Perth to pay AFL and i pity the poor and worried parents of any rookie that goes there via the draft.

they are a strong club thats for sure, just wait and see in 2008 with out Judd and Cousins, Cousins had to go bad for the game

Well I wouldn't go that extreme just coz of Ben Cousins and his low life buddies, the Eagles have proven themselves to be a strong, premiership winning team - they just lost the plot the past few years but im sure they will do everything the can to get back up.  Its going to take some time though, to earn the respect back.

Nope im a supporter for WC...but u guys can say what u want . Its just a game, a sport, a hobby, a job. I dont care what happens. We won a premeirship in 06..regardless of wether u think there was drugs involved or not it cant b proven. So say what u want. We got a premeirship and we r right for another 10 years.

While I've hated losing to them (including two grand finals), I can't say they sux.  They introduced some great strategic plays and have had some awesome talent.  They've been great to watch, particularly in the Mateira years.

But the fact a club can't spot when one of their players is really off the rails totally does sux.

I know the circumstances weren't the same, but I can't help comparing the WCE soft-c*** approach to Cousins with the hard stance Geelong took with Steve Johnston. Look at the respective results. It doesn't take a genius to see which worked better...
