Westhightland terrier?

Hiya my folks are going to Ireland in a couple of weeks on their hols and want to get a westie when their there. Any name's of good pet shops or good websites for classified adverts would be great? xx

if you log onto the Irish kennel club web site they will give you a list of pet shop or breeders in this area i do also know there is a few dog shows on over the next few weeks and may be got there it is a shame you did not say as to what part of Ireland your parents are coming

I, as a Westie owner, would have to say that your parents made a good choice.

don't buy dogs from pet shops

why don't they buy from a breeder here?

if they know or see anyone with a good looking westie( there

are a lot of badly bred ones from puppy farms) ask where

they bought the dog.

visit the home and check out the breeding papers

Go to the web site  www.ikc.ie            this is the Irish Kennel Club official site.  Do not buy any dog without their approval or you could be ripped off.  We bought a Westie 2 years ago and brought it to Canada. With their guidance the process was very easy. We flew British Airways to Toronto and had no problems.

if buying full breeds with pedigree best to look up breeders .or you can be ripped off
