Westinghouse TV Problem?

We were given a Westinghouse TV a month ago for our new house. Its been a month since we got and today was the first time I was going to try it out. I plugged in the power adapter and the orange standby light came on, but when I press the power button the green light comes on for a second and then goes back to orange. The screen flickers once right before the green light turns back to orange.. Thats it. Not even the W screen.. Whats wrong with this thing?? Does it need to charge or something?? It was given to use by my mother in law, so I know it wasn't damaged goods or anything.. Help please!

Sounds like you have a power supply problem. I would contact westinghouse about it since it should still be under warrantee.
