  1. I have also heard that if you put it in a bowl of rice (uncooked of course) that the rice will absorb any water that is left in the phone or battery.

    Good luck.

  2. just take out the battery. And leave it in a place where is not too cold or too hot. Before you do just use a warm hair dryer and just pass over it a few times. Leave it alone don't turn it on. And it should do the trick. If not I suggest you take it to your service provider and get a new phone if you have insurance get it fixed.

  3. i would not use a hair dryer... you will just raise the possibility of it getting overheated or you will end up blowing moisture further into the phone

your best bet is to place your phone infront of a dehumidifier for a few hours.  most people have these in the basement because they pull moisture out of the air.

if you or any of your friends don't have a dehumidifier, you can also place your phone in a bowl of rice.  Rice works well to draw moisture out of things.

That's pretty much all you can do right now.  If it still isn't working after you've let it dry like that for at least a whole night, there is probably something wrong with the circuitry.

You could try opening up your phone and cleaning every part of it... but I'm not sure if that will work.

If it's an expensive phone and you are really desperate, there are some sites online that will fix your phone for about $50.

  4. moisture in the phone is bad. it can corrode the micro circuit connections. it can also get into the lcd screen.

dry the phone with a hair dryer, get it toasty warm/hot and let it dry completely.

  5. take it apart and leave all seperate parts near a window or something so it will dry out...same thing happend to me...

  6. Is it the one from the commercial? becasue if it is.. my friend dropped it into his soft drink and he took out the battery for 2 weeks and when he put it back in it just seemed to work. I guess if you blow dry it it might work if not than the phone itself is screwed. BUT.. good luck i hope the phone worls soon :)
