For my history class, on the syllabus, it says blue book required for each exam. What is a blue book? And someone asked if we should get the big one or the small one for the final. (he said big one) What's the differences?

  1. A blue book is a thin, soft-covered, lined, notebook with a light blue cover. It is frequently used in college for essay exams. I didn't realize that there were two different sizes - the ones we used were about 8" x 9" and had maybe 12-14 pages. Also, when we had exams that required a blue book, we didn't have to buy them - our professor just distributed them immediately before the exam.

  2. Short leases based on Blue Book Values. No money down. Cash back.

  3. A "blue book" is a booklet you can buy at your college store, that includes several sheets of lined paper in it (for writing your answers during exams). There's not much difference between a large blue book and a small one, aside from the size of the paper and the number of lines you can write on. Also, unless you ask, don't count on having your professor provide you with one before the exam (I've never known of a professor that gave them out). :D
