What's a good summer project?

I'm looking for a summer project I can work on for the next couple months. I was looking into volunteering, but I can't commit to a regular schedule because my work schedule changes from week to week. Does anyone know of any flexible organizations and any other project ideas? I was also looking into scrap booking and writing, but I'm not sure if either strikes my fancy. Save me from a summer of boredom!!!

you can create a summer story and work on it all summer and then make a cover and pictures for it. it will be fun and keep you from being bored

How about volunteering for Habitat for Humanity?

You can pick the days you can work.

Delivering meals for Meals on Wheels. Takes about 1 hour a day, can be once a week, or you can sign up as a substitute when someone else can't be there. They call you and if you can, good, if not it's ok. They'll try again next time.
