What's the best digital camera?

For me, Canon has always been the best in quality pictures.

I have a Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS that cost about $250.00.  It is incredibly small, being able to slip into your pocket and be barely noticeable.  The body is aluminum, and it comes in 5 different colors.  Now to specs.  It has 8 MP resolution, 3x optical zoom, image stabilization, face detection, and a whole other bunch of goodies that come with it.
