What's the best season DVD?

I'm a college student and don't have room in my budget for cable. I do like to have the TV on in the background, though, and am wondering if anyone has a favorite season dvd that I should purchase. Preferably a show that doesn't require your full attention to know what's going on. Also a lot of people are in and out of my apt so it should be a show that any college student would enjoy. I would also like it to be reasonably priced. Thanks for your suggestions!
