What's up with the Walk4Freedom?

How far are they into their 280 mile walk? What is their next stop?

After leaving Green Bay on the 11th, the group of freedom lovers arrive in Wausau for a town hall meeting at the local VFW.

The walkers are on a 280 mile journey on foot to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. The group are walking to educate people on the US Constitution at various town hall meetings along the walk route. When arriving in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, they are attending Ron Paul's Rally For the Republic at the Target Center on Sept. 2nd.

They are on day 17 of their 28 day walk. A blog entry says, "Yesterday we strolled into the quaint town of Elk Mound and met a man doing stone work with his wife.  He stopped to tell us how his 92-year-old dad says, ” I remember when we used to have freedom in this country.”

This is a snapshot of our current reality.  That’s why it is important that we actively educatate our communities about our constitutional rights and their current violations.  We can’t let freedom be a pleasant memory of the past; we must fight to restore it. "
