I've had the ipod touch for a couple of months &suddenly it's not turning on unless I connect it to the computer &sync it. Also, it has nothing to do with the battery because it's charged fully. I have no idea what's going on with it, anyone have a clue?

  1. that happened to another older version ipod i had find a way to safely open it and order a new battery i think it is the battery it may not be working well and might just display the battery as full when it isnt because the batery is messed up

  2. first connect the ipod touch to the sync cable then hold sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 10 seconds then after the apple logo should come up when it comes up let go of the sleep/wake button but keep holding the home button then this should come up: look at the link

then keep holding the home button open itunes leave the home button then it will say your ipod is detected in recovery mode you must restore it to use it then press ok then pree restore then pree "Restore and Update"

if you don't get this watch this video

  3. sometimes they just wear out. bring it to the shop and get it fixed

  4. try to restore it on itunes and do that when its plugged in see if that helps if it doesn't then i'm not sure whats wrong with it.
