What's wrong with my ipod ?

It froze so I tried to reset it and the power run down and the apple sign came on so I plugged it in to my laptop and something popped up so I pressed ok and now the screen is grey and it says disk mode. What do I do ?

try unplugging it, wait a while and then plug it in again.

My old iPod use to freeze all the time, I used to leave it for the battery to die then charge it up, It was fine after.

Common fault usually caused by improper removal from the PC. You entire library will most likely be wiped. Run the battery down, and charge it up, if that doesn't work then start itunes and reset the ipod this will return your ipod to factory settings.
