older brother going to jail..

and it's all NORMAL?! ..

You are rite ... the reason according to me is that we are blaming each others religion and not following any one. If we go in deep of any relegion we will found the same values almost. This is all happening because we are showing attitude and rude behaviors. If we start spreading true meaning of life and tell to our surroundings that there are so many things you can do except doing these bad things. We first follow the rules of our parents which we do no do, second we must read our religion because religion can work like the strongest brick. And we should spread words of good. we should try to stop everything that takes peoples towards these things.

Thats what i think...!

I think some of it has to do with how technology has changed the world and allowed people to do things more anonymously.  We are losing touch with the human side-- human touch, kindness, manners, morals, spirituality, faith, etc..  The media has created a world where girls think they should look like sticks and have the latest and the best of the fashion world.  We are told by the media to never feel satisfied and always want more.  When we call an office, we often don't even speak to a person anymore and sometimes, after all the button pushing, we get accidentally disconnected.  It's dehumanizing.  We don't feel in touch with our earth and it's beauty.  There is more noise--even in Alaska, there are noisy helicopters giving tourists rides to remote areas.  Instead of shoveling snow, we use noisy machines.  Instead of having a dinner party with friends from church, we sit in front of the computer or TV and watch the media convey what humans are all about.  

Parents aren't raising their children much anymore---the TV, DVD's and video and computer games are the babysitters.  Today's news has stories about teens hiring hit men to kill or rape their parents over something trivial that they didn't like that the parent did to rear them.  

I think we need to get back to simplicity and things such as gardening, art, volunteering, nature walks, etc..  We don't need to spend so much time with technology and the media.

i don't think that the world is really any different than it ever has been

maybe we have outrageous song lyrics but then again we no longer have public executions, legalized marital rape or child labor (in the u.s.)  

i think that the world has always been filled with terrible suffering and amazing acts of compassion.  i think that this will always be true.  the evil will take new forms and the acts of kindness will always get less press.  since this is so and there is nothing that you can do about it - just chill.  Accept reality as it is.  

stop focusing on the bad and try to find the good.  start by making sure that you are adding to the good.

mother teresa did her good works until she was 60 before anyone took any notice yet i think she has inspired countless people.  so don't worry that what little good you do does not matter, you never know what small acts will end up having the biggest impacts.

There's too many people in the world and we're driving each other crazy. Maybe if get in a big enough fight, we'll decrease our numbers enough so that civilization can stabilize itself again.
