What's your experience in Italy?

We're going on a school trip to Italy tomorrow to Rome and Florence. Just wondered if there are any place we need to visit, any good bars/pubs/clubs?

Any good experiences that you have experienced there?

Hi,

i live in Rome and i think that you should to visit a Colosseum, the Fontana di Trevi, the Fori Imperiali and Piazza di Spagna, when you could buy many t-shirt and jeans and nearby shops there is also the donald mc's, then you can rest!!

In Florence there is a bridge made out of gold, so go check that out.  They have TONS of stuff to do. Don't forget to try to gelatti!  If possible maybe you cuold take a train to PIsa and see that. It's not TOO far from Florence.

yeah absolutely you'd try ice-cream and what else?!?if you go in rome everywhere is wonderful!but don't forget piazza di spagna,colosseum,fontana di trevi and trastevere(a pretty nice places with pretty nice pubs!!!!)anyway rome by night is very very beautiful...

I would prefer the culture, art galleries and museums but it seems you already are set for the bars, pubs and clubs.  When in Rome do as the Romans.  There are many places to go once you get there.  Check with the locals.

well the leaning tower of pisa is near florence so you should check that out.  my first trup alone with a friend was to florence.  theres loads to do in florence.  go see the statue of michael and go see the dumo with its amazing painted ceilings.

i'm italian but i've never been to florence..anyway rome is wonderful and there are a lot of areas to visit
