  1. I have always liked Orion. It is a monstrosity in the sky and it has several stars, if you will; Betelgeus, Rigel and that belt with all the nebula.

  2. Pleiades (the seven sisters) is one of my favorites. It's easy to locate and looks amazing through a pair of binoculars. It was one of the first astronomical sights that I ever observed on a regular basis.

  3. Orion

  4. I think mine would be Taurus, mainly because of the Pleiades star cluster.

  5. I like Orion. And the little and big dippers. They're the only ones that I can ever find...

  6. I love the constellation Orion. It has a interesting story behind it, and is relatively easy to find.

  7. Orion's belt...im simple

  8. Ursa Major

  9. Orion

    .

  10. Libra...It's the first one I see when I step outside at night, It comforts me because that's something in my life that never changes, no matter what else does.

  11. Orion's belt. It's the easiest to spot on a crisp, clear night in the winter skies. {At least it is in the northern hemisphere}.

But the one I LOVE, but can't always find is Sirius. I find the star, but can't always connect the dots.

  12. Orion.

And I always see his faithful dog Sirius at his heels and the "eye of the bull" (Aldebaran in Taurus) charging him. If I look a little higher to the west are the Seven Sisters (the Pleiades) the nymphs that Artemis flung up there to keep her lost lover company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis

There's a whole story up there every clear winter night. I can never look and not see the whole scene.

  13. Telescopium, the only constellation with no stars.

  14. Another vote for Orion---
