My middle name is Louise. I have a couple of friends, two I believe, with the middle name Marie, some of my German ancestors used Marie as their first name though.

Sorry. My middle name is DAYL, and I was named after my grandmother's brother, Dale. Guess my mother wanted to get creative when she found that spelling variation.

Well, my mum called me debra, so when my mum adopted me she kept the first name, just spelt it different and then added Joy to it cause she reckons it was such a joy to adopt me - ah little did she know lol!!!  Ann is really common in australia though!

A lot of people have the middle name Marie because it flows nicely with so many different first names i.e. Sara Marie, Stephanie Marie, Janet Marie, Taylor Marie, Tiffany Marie, Anne Marie...

Mine is  Ann ; however I am named after my great grandmother, Adrianna. (The name was very overused in the 70's, but I'm proud of it nonetheless) I had a sister that died from SIDS and her middle name was Marie after my grandmother Geneva Marie.  Marie is a name that is very timeless and elegant.

Mine is Kay (which used to be a mans name).  There are at least six generations of Maries as a middle name in my husbands family.  On both sides of my family Mae is a often repeated middle name, including one of my sisters and my granddaughter.
