  1. NCC1701

  2. I'm currently a student pilot and the aircraft that I fly in has this tail number: N491WS

  3. 153393

  4. I soloed in N757LE.

  5. I used to fly Cessna N13666...a bad luck number along with the "mark of the devil". For some reason people just didn't want to fly in it! LOL. Finally had to get the number changed.

  6. What is a tail number?

  7. N1 (November One). That's the tail number for the US Government Gulfstream G-IV that is usually used by the FAA Administrator. It flies out of Washington National Airport (DCA) quite frequently. Also there is SAM (Special Air Mission) 28000 and 29000. Those are the two 747's that are used as Air Force One when the President is on board.

Just thought of another cool one today. N1KE. It's the corporate jet (G-V) used by the Nike Shoe Company. The tail number is painted on the engine with a slant so that it simply spells out the name "NIKE".

  8. N9522

  9. Charlie Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo.

J/K  The Canadian Registry won't give that one out.

  10. I'm part of a flying club, I fly many. I've worked on many.

N354PM was one of the more interesting flights I've ever been on when I was along for the ride. N38PS was a surprising maintenance flight, (how often do you get to be showered with airline bottles of Cabana Boy rum in the far rear seat when the yaw damper fails and a cabinet pops open?)

And I can't remember tail number of a Lear 45 owned by FlexJet that I got to take a flight on. Only aircraft I've ever been in that, from straight and level flight, had the power to shove me back into the seat again after we got clearance from 7,000 to our goal of 31,000.
