What's your vision of the future?

The world war III is coming.

As Russia is invading georgia, U.S. got a green ticket to invade Iran.

Then the whole world will be in War.

Depends on how far into the future. 30 years from now, a bit more technical with hundreds more gadgets.  350 years from now, unrecognizable. No more, cars, planes, money, unwanted pregnancies, child p**n, and a hundred thousands more things, that will no longer exist. The biggest change.....

The future of everyone? dark age is arriving...People will not know thier friend fro real anymore everything will be done by computer and the world can turn to be super boring place there is.

Exactly what we see out the window now... I've never been one to believe in that "Jetsons" like world... You know, flying cars buildings on giant sticks, etc.

We will all be alright.  People will learn that we are survivors.  The economy will bounce back, gas will get cheap, and we will go through another cycle of introspection and peace.

Terrorism will reign supreme in the minds of the countries.

I see (at my most optimistic) a world that celebrates first principles--reverence for life, faith in reason and self-consistency, the promulgation of liberty and all that liberty entails (democracy, minority rights, human rights), as the road map to alter a disintegrating world ethic that celebrates material gain, fame, dominance, and power as the be all end all of human evolution. And, by the way, that celebration, celebrates also the end of civilization.
