  1. HE LOOKS LIKE A BANTAM LEGHORN

  2. Looks like a tethered White Leghorn but if any other doubt, check Cackle Hatcheries. . . they have GREAT photos of all breeds of chickens, ducks and game foul.

P.S. I would NEVER tether a bird that was meant to run loose. He needs to have a pen to run around in and hens to "play" with.  He needs dirt to roll around in and needs limbs to climb on.

Before I would ever tether a bird I would build them a cage that they by themselves could be in.

  3. looks like a white leghorn great birds have one also

  4. I would say leghorn, but he doesn't have the same type of comb. Maybe he's a mix.

Here is a page full of leg horn pics and a link to the bantams. Decide for yourself:

  5. Leghorn

  6. He's a white leghorn,

The Leghorn is a breed of chicken named after the Italian city of Livorno, which was occasionally called Leghorn. Leghorns, and leghorn crossbreeds, are one of the most popular commercial breeds of chicken worldwide, and while the majority are white, a number of varieties also exist. In the America in both the APA and ABA they are recognized in white, red, black tailed red, light brown, dark brown, black, blue, buff, columbian, buff columbian, barred, exchequer and silver. Most have single combs but there are several color varieties that have rose combs. In bantam they are also exchequer, a pied pattern.
