  1. Be Different.

Be Against Using Fur For Clothes.

    Just don't turn anorexic.

Show your dad how proud he could be..

  2. Just stay strong and don't give in to their opinions.

  3. be carefull

  4. i think he is just worried because of how many models are unhealthy just try and let him see that its your dream

  5. hes worride. models in the industry have a bad reputation right now just explain how you feel and he'll understand. he is your dad :]

  6. your dad is an a*****e

    do you and be pround

if your dad doesnt love you enough to support you through what you want to do and are dedicated to find a new support system because your dad aint doing his job

  7. my dad raised me by himself, and that is no mean feat.  I sustpect your dad is worried ha a fly by night  shyster agency is gettign you a little work here an there, and eating up your pay in hteir fees. TALK to him.. as him HIS feelings, and why.. you might be surprised

  8. the only thing you can do is prove him wrong!

keep your grads up and keep eating right and in time he will be fine

    Good luck

  9. Your dad should be supportive and should help you to find a good middle way between modeling and school.

  10. my dad is soo the same. i wanted to sing and he said the same thing to me but im not going to give up and neither should you. but still do your work coz u never know if it fails or something. i think he just cares about your wellspring and stuff.

  11. He's just worried, and he's right to be. I did some modeling a few months back and whilst the experience was good, it brought my self-esteem down to rock bottom. The girl I did it with was about 3 pounds and 7'5", and I was at a "normal" weight. So, it did make me feel like sh*t.

When you do it, remember that you wouldn't have been picked unless you are pretty enough, ok? Don't let the other models bring you down. It can be a pretty b*tchy business and if you end up in the wrong crowd it can easily lead to poor self-esteem and eating disorders.

Talk to your dad! Tell him that if anything is ever on your mind, you'll come talk to him, not just let it bubble up inside. Then he'll have some peace of mind. Remember, he still thinks of you as a little baby, it's probably quite a shock to him, now he has to realize that your growing up and are becoming less and less dependent on him.

I think once he sees the pictures he'll be really proud, in fact, I KNOW he will be.

Good luck, have fun, and don't let any of it get to you!
