What Happened to Tony Bruno?

He is no longer listed on Sporting News Radio website. And tonybruno.com says he is on hiatus. Did he get fired? Is he going to XM radio? anyone know any details?

Sporting News Radio announced today that Tony Bruno will depart the network when his contract expires in early April. His last show was January 18, but he will remain on staff

for the next two months and work with SNR management on a number of company initiatives.

Tony has posted a reply on his website www.tonybrunoshow.com in the fourm section that says the following:

Sorry I haven't been able to say anything to any of you on the My Space messages in the last week but I was working out finalizing my departure from Sporting News Radio.

It's a sad day for me not being at the Super Bowl with all of my friends and most importantly, not being able to continue to provide what most of you found entertaining, refreshing and fun every day. It was that kind of feedback, reaction and vibe from you guys that kept me positive and happy during some very tough times in my personal life.

Going into that studio was my escape from the real world and an entrance into a special place where we could all feel better about silly stuff and get outraged at those few things worthy of that emotion.

I will pursue another nationally syndicated program immediately in hopes of not only continuing what I have been doing for over 35 years, but to make it better, fresher, and more importantly - supported and marketted by people committed to winning and spreading this unique type of programming to the masses.

So that sounds to me like he got terminated, but who knows for sure>
