There are certain things that YouTube has on its website that I do find inappropriate, but it's obvious that website managers cannot control absolutely everything that goes onto the website. I think that in many ways it allows people to express themselves, either as a viewer or as a contributor. It's a great way for people from all different backgrounds to enjoy eachother and the information/entertainment they provide. :]

I think it's brilliant for music, particularly for finding live performances. It's a great way for people to share things. I like using it for TV programmes that aren't shown any more (e.g. Takin' Over The Asylum, Spaced, and random episodes of Nevermind The Buzzcocks) and for stand-up comedy.

The only thing i do find annoying is that so many of the comments on there are just people slagging off other people, its like a competition to see who can get the most swear words into one insult or something. I hate it when people make racist/homophobic comments.

Its also a bit annoying when Warner Bros, the BBC, etc take down videos. Its not like people are making money out of them, there's no need to take them down. Especially because the BBC iplayer doesn't work all over the world, so for some people the only way to watch a TV show is on youtube.

There's also quite a bit of c**p on youtube, and it's certainly not ok when people use it to post videos of them bullying others, but apart from that i think it's a great site =)

It can take many forms depending on so many things.

I think it is a great medium for people who have the internet though, great way to express yourself.

Well,it's a popular means of communication and projection,and just like  television and the internet on the whole,on the one hand it's filled with the superficial,annoyingly stupid mass culture,but on the other hand,it can also be the most wonderful of tools.If it wasn't for youtube,there's a lot of things I would have missed--live musical performances,talk shows(I came to know about Charlie Rose on youtube),etc.

Youtube could quite possibly be the greatest invention on the internet. It's all of the above. Also a great way to lose about eight hours of your day when you keep clicking on links.

Definitely have spent wayyy too much time on Youtube...and I really don't care, hahahaha.

its good if you are searching for music or a tv clip but the limit on commenting is annoying, i love looking at the old tv adverts, trying to grasp my long lost youth

It is very handy. It has anything and everything that you would like to know about.

And it is very helpful because there is a variety of videos for every topic.

It is entertaining, because there are funny things there that make you laugh.

I get to see shows that i would never get to see,..as most are from different Countries.

I also catch-up on stuff i may have missed the first time round...or that i want to see again cause it made me laugh,..or a feeling of nostalgia has made me want to look at Cartoons i use watch as a Kid ;)

If i'm having a Party,..i can put on one of my Playlists and boogy all night,..knowing that it's not costing me a penny! ;)

I can Upload my own videos and get feed back from other Users,..and make friends at the same time! ;)

You Tube is one of the best Site's on the Web,..i absolutely LOVE IT! ;)

It's a fabulous way to express yourself unless it involves any form of bullying.

A very entertaining site although people would argue that the world would be a much better place without it.

I think it's a great tool for expressing yourself and it's a great window to view peoples lives.

There's music, comedy, films, the list does go on and on.
