Question:

What Lighting is needed for plants?

In one of my reptile vivariums, i am putting live plants and i would like to know what sort of artificial lighing could be used? and any products people could suggest?

Plants like bromeliads, pothos and snake plant.

  1. It depends on the plant - an Indian pipe needs no light at all.

    If you want to use artificial lighting you should probably use a light at the blue end of the spectrum for vegetative growth (red for flowering)
