  1. i dont beleive in bi polar

but i've seen alot of them snap

  2. You Smoke, chemical imbalance or way too much BS, but that is ok; we love you anyway!

Edit:  Winter & VP smoke Nation & #18 #1 fan-- I am bipolar (could you not tell)  I am nice one day and a B#@ch the other.  I did not take offense to this question  today, but I am in a good mood.  I could have tomorrow. I refuse to take anything though---Exercise is the best medicine though for bi polar really keeps me 'as even as I can be.'

    (Not joking either)

  3. Tony Stewart is bi-polar.  He is very immature still.  I thought he might grow up but he hasn't.  The people who interview him should get a raise.

  4. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, I doubt that you know what you are talking about...Why?  If you understood the disease, you would not post questions about this.  Anyone's medical history is their private life and should remain there unless they bring it out.  It is a serious illness, not to be taken lightly or scorned.  And it has been seriously "stereo-typed" in the media.   It can usually be controlled, and when it is, people with the dx. of bi-polar disorder are no different than any of us.  Those of you taking a stand on this issue due to personal experience, I applaud you.  This question can be interpreted as hurtful by sensitive people.  You should consider others first.  I don't mean to rant, I just believe in the rights of everyone, especially those with Mental Health issues.

  5. Don't really care for this question think it is in poor taste.

I seriously do not think Nascar would allow any driver who has Bi polar to actually drive.

  6. I don't know if any of the drivers are bipolar, but, from what I hear, Rusty Wallace has multiple personalities.

  7. I have family members who are bi-polar, and I'm usually a lighthearted person, it takes alot to offend me, but unless there is a driver who actually has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and are currently under psychiatric care and medication for it, I honestly don't find this question one bit ammusing.

Sorry, like I said, I'm usually a very lighthearted person!

Edit:Storm, it's your right to not be offended by it, it's my right to find it in extremely poor taste.

  8. I seriously doubt that NASCAR would allow a driver who has been diagnosed as bi-polar to drive in any of their series.  But if you can prove otherwise, I'd be very interested.  It might explain a lot of behavior.

  9. a number of members of my family are bi-polar, and it's really not a fun thing to joke about. and i like a good politically incorrect laugh as much as the next guy, usually more so. but there are drivers in the top three series who do suffer with various mental illnesses, including bi-polar disorder, adhd, tourette's, etc. and at least a few who have had substance abuse problems (still considered a mental health issue) - and it has cost them their rides and/or their careers, at least temporarily.

one driver in particular who had just moved into cup last year had to take a break because of a problem with his medications - and i applaud him for that. not only because he was taking everyone's safety into account, but also because he gave up his cup ride, took a lot of heat in the press, had to restart in the truck series, and is now still only an occasional driver, even at the lower levels.

having had personal experience with at least a couple of these (it's up to you to guess ;-) i feel that questions that compare drivers having temporary "ups and downs" because they are competitive to serious mental disorders tends to give a very wrong impression about how debilitating the illnesses are.

sorry to be a downer on this question, but that's my $0.18.

  10. do you really have to ask....................  your a tony stewart fan....... arn't you!

  11. They all get ticked off. Does that mean they are bi-polar?

Everyone could be classified as bi-polar if they admit to a few of the symptoms to a quack with the license to say they are bi-polar. (especially if you have insurance and they know they can drain your insurance company of money for office visits and drugs)

I'm like greenbean. There is no such thing. I proved that when I took my x's kid off of adderall for ADHD and he had been on it all of his life. Proper attention and guidance fixed all of that.

Either Tony or Kyle could fit that category though. Tony has a temper and Kyle quits and walks away.
