Ok here's a basic thing on my life.

Ever since I was a little kid I had an incredible knack for money. I always was able to handle, count, split, and estimate money way better and quicker than anyone I know. And I'm going to be a senior in High school now and I'm not sure what kind of University to go to. I have a 4.0 GPA and I speak 6 Languages (Italian, French, English, Spanish, Hungarian, and Bulgarian). I always looked forward to my life as having quite large ammounts of money. But I'm not sure what specific kind of University should I go to. And I wouldn't be able to conform with a 30,000$ yearly salary. I'm looking for 100,000$+. My moms friend owns lego and her other friend owns like half the malls In Hungary so maybe theres a possibility I could work for them? If so what kind of University should I attend? By the way I'm willing to study til age 30 if it's what it takes.

Jobs I wouldn't do:

Any kind of doctor, lawyer, judge or anything having to do with the law.

Post your answers and thank you for your time

  1. study accounting or finance.  you will always have a job and get payed well (not 100,000 for a while). also with your language skills you will be valued as way more than a numbers cruncher and could move your way up.  honestly, your not going to make 100,000 dollars right out of college and just because your friends are rich, doesnt mean you will be.  work hard, get money that way.

  2. It sounds like you would do very well going into banking at a big firm like Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, or JP Morgan. There are many divisions in each group...you might be interested in Sales & Trading or straight up Investment Banking. If you want to go the business route, the best choice is to go to a really prestigious undergraduate business school, like UPenn's Wharton. However, you can also get into it by going to any school and majoring in Economics or Business. My boyfriend is at a top 5 liberal arts school, majoring in Economics, and has just been hired to work for Lehman.

In that field, you really don't have to go to get your MBA.

If you get hired by Lehman or a company like that, you really need to snag an internship the summer after your junior year in college. They give offers to good interns. When you graduate and start work for them, the starting salary is around $60,000 (very high starting salary) and bonuses (given once a year) range from $40,000 to $60,000. As the years pass, you earn way more money than that.
