What acne medication actually works?

. i have tried many different products on my face to try to clear it up and nothing seems to work. what works and will keep my face clear?

please help.

it depends on the person like proactiv was no help to me but clinique acne solutions gave me beautiful skin

proactive i use it for the past 6 month's and haven't had a pimple since.

Accutane.

seriously, talk to your dermetologist about it ,

it worked for me !

and i thought nothing would because i had acne for years !

but it takes a few months,

but its worth it.

do yourself a favor and try it =]

Haha -- you asked the question I was wondering too!!  I've been using ProActive for many years, but it's not really working for me anymore.  It's embarrassing because even as an adult, I get crazy break outs that just don't seem to clear up.  I do highly recommend Ceitaphil (sp?) or even a generic equivalent for a gentle cleanser.  I think I'm going to try some of the more commercial name products that I've seen on TV recently.  Hopefully they won't cost as much as the ProActive!!!  :)

My brother had serious acne and Accutane helped clear it up.  The problem with the Accutane is it has some side effects, plus you have to go to a doctor to get it, have blood drawn and it's expensive!  He used the ProActive after the Accutane, which seemed to help a little.

The only thing that clears up severe acne in my experience is a POWERFUL perscription drug called Acutane. I don't even think they'll give it to girls though because it causes birth defects. Have you tried Proactive?

okay all those other products that the other pplz said work but if u stop usin it it comes back worse!! so i use this stuff my mom sells!! its from mark kay you get the velocity wash and lotion acne cream and blemish control and frist you wash ur face in the shower and then when ur getin ready u put on the blemish control with a cotton pad the u put on the acne cream all over the u put the lotion on and it work like magic!! it works in less than three days if u keep doin it and if you stop they go a way 4 like a month!! hope this helps!!

Did you go to your doctor? I tried everything, and finally got a prescription that worked called Duac topical Gel
