Question:

What am I sick with?

I feel sick. I believe I have had this sickness before; if I recall correctly, it lasted approximately 1 week last time.

Here are the only symptoms I can detect:

Nausea

Lack of energy/tiredness

I also think I should inform you that I feel fine when I eat for some reason; but once I stop eating I feel sick again. I never actually feel like throwing up, and I haven't, but I always feel nauseous. I feel worse during car rides.

I remember that it started on friday morning when I drank an alcoholic drink on a fairly empty stomach and then went for a long car ride (I wasn't the one driving). I at first thought it was just motion sickness, but it did not go away. However, I remember that the last time I had this sickness I had not consumed any alcohol.

Please help if you know what it is or if you know of any ways to help me recover/feel better.

  1. You placed this in the Respiratory Section.  But it doesn't sound like that kind of problem.  It sounds like it has to do with the energy system of the body.  Glucose transfer.  Insulin. Or digestive maybe ulcer. I would definitely get to a doctor.  I don't think there is anything you can do with over-the-counter medications or nutrition and vitamins until you know what it is.

  2. hypoglycemia, anemic or diabetic.Look those up to see if you can pinpoint any more symptoms.
