What are some examples of failures in life other than like dropping out of school or not going to college?

Failure and success, both are great teachers.  

Failure is missing out on; that academic recognition, the promotion at work, the riches in your business or the sports medal you couldn’t win.

Real failure is when you stay down after you tripped or stumbled. Failure is when you shut down and simply check out. Failure is when you give up!

Failure to lose weight, failure to gain weight.  Failure to meet a milestone, like a child walking at 9 months or talking by 12 months.  

Failure to marry by a certain age.  Failure to get or keep a job.
