  6. Flan and churros, are the only ones i can think of.

  7. well aside of the obvious that everyone has pointed out, there are very unique deserts...

    such as "Capirotada" which is peices of french bread cut up, and cooked in a pot with condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and raisins some times, (other ingr. im not sure of) and is very delicious (sometimes served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    or home made "Bunuelos" these are made to be round flat cinnamon pastry with sugar and cinnamon and served with a sauce, withh a liquidy consistency and made largely from pears, and plums (among other fruits) and poured over. Very good and easy to make.

    my favorite has to be STRAWBERRY OR PINEAPPLE TAMALES. they are made just like regular tamales only the dough is made with strawberry or pineapple pulp/mix. and are stuffed with bits of the fruits. They are traditional and very nice presentation.
