What insects do they repel (spiders?), and which ones do they work on? Are they a good way to get rid of insects? Thanks!

  1. yea yea, my grandfather was a carpet seller and he used mothballs a lot. they keep insects a way. don't touch them they can be really noxious. just put them under a carpet to protect it from insects. you can also put it between your books or your clothes in your storage.

hey Maya whats up? whats that new avatar? i like the older one much more than this. :( change it please but this time pic a really beautiful one. :d

    bye

  2. Moth balls are good for keeping moths out of wool, to evict skunks and other animals ,in the attic if there are bees , to keep mice away in case they feed on old books etc..To deodorize a dark crawl space. For spiders you need to clean out the cob webs with an old mop or broom and air pout the place from time to time .

  3. I put them around the foundation of the house. Keeps spiders and other bugs out. Will also keep cats out of the window wells. I would put the stuff in plastic containers with lids and put moth balls in with them.

  4. The reason they repel Moths is because they don't like the smell. I

don't know what they do if they eat on them. I know they sure stink

to we humans, and are  poisonous. So make sure you wash your

hands good after handling them. I didn't know that they still sell them.

They were used for storing inside of stacked woolen sweaters and

other things, ans also knits of any kind. Some materials moths are

really into eating. So to avoid holes in good winter clothes, stick some

inside a sweater or pair of wool pants and the smell should keep them

    all away.
