  1. In cricket, an over is a set of six consecutive balls bowled in succession. An over is normally bowled by a single bowler. However, in the event of injury preventing a bowler from completing an over, it shall be completed by a teammate.

An over must consist of six legal deliveries. No balls and wides do not count toward the six-ball tally.

  2. An over is 6 balls in a row by the same person without wides (miss the pitch), no balls (foot over the crease).

Cricket games either have 50 overs (one day), 20 overs (twenty20) or unlimited (test match).

  3. ^^^^harry guy is stupid, six balls don't have to be in a row, illegal pitches can be thrown in between, they just don't count, u just get extra point for those.  u finish ur over when u have six legal deliveries bowled.

anyways watch another match one espn tommorow morning (unless u have diff time zone), it should be a good match

  4. It is not necessary the same bowler has to bowl 6 balls in an over. If a bowler is injured halfway down an over, the captain can ask someone else to complete the over.

A ball can be wide or noball, which is considered not legitimate. And any ball the umpire rules is wide / noball has to be re-bowled.

An over is the set of 6 balls, bowled at the batsman, excluding wide balls & noballs.

  5. a period of 6 balls. Bowlers must take turns in bowling. When a bowler bowls 6 legitimate balls, this is considered an over and now a new bowler must bowl another 6 balls.

The Asia Cup is an One Day International in which the fielding side must bowl 50 overs using their various bowlers. After 50 overs, the other team will bowl 50 overs.
