Freebird by Skynyrd.  The beauty about that solo is that Lynyrd Skynyrd had three lead guitarists that had their own unique sound.  Each of them takes turns doing solos and playing rhythym, and at times, two of the leads are playing complimentary solos.  Pretty phenomonal stuff if you listen close to it!

Yes, I know this list is a little heavy on Steely Dan songs.  In their heyday in the seventies, Steely Dan featured some of the very best and most innovative studio guitarists on their albums, people like Larry Carlton, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Dennis Dias, Elliot Randall, and Rick Derringer.  It was like a who's who of guitar virtuosos, and they played some of my all-time favorite solos.
