What are some career ideas?

What are some career ideas for a kid interested in wildlife conservation who would like to be out in the field but not as a researcher. I'm asking for my cousin. He's also interested in flying planes and photography.

he could work as a wildlife photographer, a marine biologist, a forester, a game warden, environmental scientist. you can take it in any direction you want, this will be my major in college next year and from the schools I've talked to they are willing to help you with any of your interest in the wildlife Field and combine them with your other interests so that you find the perfect job for you.

You could be a Forester, Wildlife Biologist, Wetland Scientist, Aquatic Biologist, Fisheries Biologist, Environmental Scientist, Soil Scientist.  Look into professional organizations for employment opportunities, professional credentialing requirements, etc.

Any division natural resources or Department of Environmental Protection or whatever your state calls it.  US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Audubon, other conservation groups, some environmental consultants.  Just don't expect to get rich.

Make sure they attend an accredited school or university.  It's a good time for that field (and forestry) as many "old timers" are retiring that have been in the field for many years.  Make sure you take Geographic Information System (GIS) courses!!

In the field you should always have a camera.  You never know what you will see.

Theres not much coz how an you Conserve wildlife and not research about it? How would you even know that what you were doing was right? Sorry... i could only think of those two. If you are willing to research a little:

1. Join/apply the UN or green peace and other organizations that conserve wildlife

2. Be a Veterinarian

3. Nature channel video takers, hosts

4. Writer for nature magazines
