What are some fictional witch myths?

sorry to any witches reading this but I'm writing a story and am collecting some info because one of my main characters is a witch.And to anyone else just throw all you got at me. I already have 'real' info of course and managed to collect some stupid myths but i still don't have enough.

please can you help!!

-Witches are green (myth, witches have the same skin color as everyone else in the world)

-Witches fly on brooms (myth, witches drive cars, ride buses, and walk like everyone else. This myth came about when people saw witches riding on broomsticks and running around fields)

-Witches cast evil spells on people (myth, spells are not evil, the intention of the caster determines whether the outcome is evil or not).

(The only thing I disagree with here in this list, is this person attempting to claim that witchcraft is a religion in and of itself.  While it is a spiritual/magical practice, there is no organized religion of witchcraft.)

Most commonly available information on Witches is Myth or made up through the written word or Hollywood.  We True Witches-Pagans (there are many factions) are all about peace to all, harm to none and all things of nature and our universe.  Many other Faiths, (not naming anyone) have unrealistic and unfair beliefs about Witches/Pagans.  It's very sad that in our country, USA, still today we do not all have freedom of Religion/Faith and Spirituality without persecution.
