What are some good charitys?

i am going to donate money to lots of charities because me and my friend are doing bake sales at school...for the whole school grades 1-8(and yes we go to that school me are 12 years old). thank you for helping me find some good charities to donate to.

How about your local food bank.  Maybe one of your neighborhood churches runs one.  What is nice about donating to a food bank is that it assists lots of people. Young and old.
