What are some good websites for..?

I need to find some important MEDICAL events that happened between the years of 1751 and 1799.. but so far I'm not having very much luck of finding events. If you have any suggestions of some websites I could use, please answer. Also, if you include links it would be very helpful. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My sister said that there is someone called "the Angel of the Battlefeild" because she was a nurse in the war and she founded the Red Cross. But I'm not sure if it's in that time period.
