What are some good yearbook themes?

(For a highschool) -- I'm on the staff and we need to start thinking up themes for next year. Any ideas? And we are looking for something NOT cheesy. We like more sophisticated, unique themes that can be carried throughout the book.

Ours was Focus this year. We did a very modern theme for it: lots of clean lines and boxes. We did all the page design ourselves, and so were able to carry quite a few elements through (five boxes on all the dividers, 1-pica lines crossing somewhere on every DPS, plus photographic and copy themes).

This might be a good place to start asking this question of the senior class. Poll them. Find their issues and see if there is a common pattern. Your class is nearing the end of the first decade of the 21st century. You will be the ones to decide the direction of our culture and purpose. Collectively come up with what is most on the minds of all.
