  1. You didn't mention what grade levels you're looking for.  K12 is a secular company:

There are free, K12 virtual charter schools in many states.  If you don't want to go with a public school, you have the option to purchase K12 as an independent HS'er (Consumer Direct).  We've been independent users for five years.

  2. For English, Learning Language Arts through Literature and Writing Strands/Reading Strands come to mind.

For math, Saxon, Teaching Textbooks, there are some other computer-based programs I can't think of at the moment.

For chem and physics, I'd suggest finding second hand first-year college texts or library books. The only high school texts I know of available for purchase by homeschoolers is Apologia, and that is not secular.

  3. I have never really checked any of them out since many of the true and tried home school curriculum's are challenging, and provide students with solid academics.

For math look into Saxon and the Dive Cd's/

For science I would recommend Apologia.

For English, depending on what part of language arts you are looking for, spelling, and grammar from CLP

-Building Spelling Skills, and Applications in Grammar

For writing look into Write Shop.

This is a web site that I send out to new home school families who are looking for a more secular approach, they may have what you are looking for.
